小鼠皮下LD50：19mg/kg；兔子静脉LD50：1mg/kg；猪皮肤LD50：25mg/kg；蛙肠胃LDLo：5mg/kg。
主要用于
极谱分析。属于有机强碱，其水溶液广泛应用于电子行业的图形转移工步，做为光刻工步的一种显影液使用。比如半导体芯片制造和液晶面板制造的光刻工艺。
