澳大利亚昆士兰大学博士学位(Ph.D)。中国科学院“百人计划”获得者,2011年获海南省首批“创新创业人才”、海南省“515”第一层次人才称号
人物生平
主要研究领域是分子植物—病原微生物相互作用、植物病原微生物基因组学、水稻分子生物学。以通讯作者发表SCI 论文20多篇,其中SCI 影响因子10以上的论文1篇,发表于国际基因组学最高专业杂志Genome Research上并获得高度评价;论文SCI他人引用300次以上。已5次受邀在国际学术大会上作报告,并为6种国际专业杂志审稿。已申请专利5项,获得授权3项。先后承担科技部“973”项目子课题2项、“863”项目1项、科技攻关项目1项;
国家自然科学基金4项(其中面上项目3项,海外青年合作基金1项);中国科学院“创新工程”项目2项;农业部《转基因生物新品种培育科技重大专项》1项。

1983年7月:毕业于原
华南热带农业大学(现合并为新海南大学),获学士学位。
1983年7月至1992年6月:华南热带作物研究院(现为中国热带农业研究院)任研究实习员、助理研究员。
1984年9月至1985年10月:国际热带农业中心(CIAT)进修。
1992年7月至1993年6月:
澳大利亚昆士兰大学植物系研究生,获研究生文凭。
1993年7月至1996年8月:澳大利亚昆士兰大学植物系博士研究生,获博士学位。
1996年9月至2000年5月:新加坡国立大学分子农业生物学院Research Fellow(博士后)。
2000年5月至2010年8月:入选中国科学院“百人计划”,任中国科学院微生物所植物基因组学国家重点实验室研究员、博士生导师。
2004年5月起:任清华大学深圳研究生院生命科学学部教授、博士生导师。从事水稻分子生物学和植物病原微生物
分子遗传学研究。
2010年9月起:任海南大学 “作物遗传育种”国家重点学科责任教授、海南省热带生物资源可持续利用重点实验室(
省部共建国家重点实验室培育基地)主任、博士生导师。
