概念
从语言的社会功能变体来讲,经贸英语是在跨文化国际经贸领域中,主要由生产商、代理商、消费者、投资者等使用的,以进行和完成相关经贸交际活动为目的,在词汇、句法、篇章上具有特定表现形式、表达程式、言语规范及言语规律的,相对稳定的一种功能变体。作为特殊用途英语(English for SpecifiPurposes,ESP),经贸英语(Business English)与其国际经贸交际环境、言语生产者、言语接受者、语体学、语用学、篇章语言学等有密不可分的联系。经贸英语正是在这些联系的基础上显示出其独特的语体特征。
内容提要
