中国文化大学戏剧系影剧组毕业，毕业制作《哀歌》入围中时晚报非商业类电影奖。曾参与台湾知名导演陈国富、朱延平等人电影，担任编剧、副导、美术指导等职务，1994年以电影短片《爱丽丝》（For Alice）获
台湾金穗奖最佳剧情片及比利时世界录影带展最佳导演奖。2001年起开始拍摄商业广告。2008年创作剧本《微光闪亮 第一个清晨》获台湾新闻局优良电影剧本奖，隔年以此剧获选台湾新闻局国片辅导金，2012年11月正式完成首部电影长片，获邀台湾高雄电影节闭幕片并入围2013年台北电影奖十大竞赛片。
Wang is a well know for her commercials and short films. She has worked with many prestigious Taiwanese directors such as Chu Yin-Ping and Chen Kuo-Fu. In 1994, her 16mm short film 《For Alice》received Best Director award at Brussels International Film Festival, and Best Picture at Golden Harvest Award in Taiwan. In 2012, she completed her first feature-length film 《Star of Bethlehem》which premiered at Kaohsiung Film Festival, and was nominated for Taipei Film Festival in 2013.
