查克洛在X·Y中作为卡洛斯地区遥香道馆的馆主登场，对运动很得意。是一个擅长脚踏车竞赛或
攀岩等运动的道馆馆主。期待内心坚强的训练家来挑战。
非常喜欢甜食，但是为了保持体重会克制住自己的欲望。（电视中曾报导过看见他一动不动地盯着陈列橱窗里的甜食）
因为擅长岩石属性，所以也被邻镇的居民们拜托调查石阵之谜。
查克洛的日文馆主称号是：ワイルド マイルド ロッククライマー，英文馆主称号是：The wild, yet cool and collected, rock climber，中文馆主称号是：“野性而温柔的攀登者”。

小智一行人首次见面是在对战古堡。
他喜欢在对战古堡的窗框上攀登，并表现出对墙壁疯狂的迷恋。但
紫罗兰对此感到习以为常，看得出来两人是很好的朋友。

大岩蛇击败了紫罗兰的
溜溜糖球后爵位升到了大公。 在和小智道别时，小智一行人得知现查克洛是遥香道馆的馆主，这也令小智对接下来与查克洛的道馆赛更加兴奋期待了。
