中国科学技术大学杰出讲席教授
李嘉禹,男,汉族,1963年6月出生,安徽明光人,研究生学历,博士学位,1987年6月加入中国共产党,1988年7月参加工作。现任中国科学技术大学数学科学学院教授。

社会任职
2023年12月,辽宁大连召开的中国数学会第十四次会员代表大会,李嘉禹当选中国数学会第十四届副理事长。
研究成果
李嘉禹教授的研究领域为几何分析,基础数学中最活跃、最重要的领域之一。李嘉禹教授在几何中非线性方程解空间紧性及存在性方面做出了杰出工作,取得了一系列为同行认可的杰出成果:(1)李嘉禹与合作者构造一个新的发展方程来研究无边极小曲面的存在性,得到极小环面的存在性。(2)李嘉禹与合作者研究了一般情况下稳定调和映照的紧性,得到了有关弱极限和能量集中集的奇点公式,并举例说明弱极限未必稳定,把这个困难问题的研究向前推进了一步。(3)李嘉禹与合作者解决了Kobayashi猜想及Bando-Siu猜想,证明了非紧情况下的Donaldson-Uhlenbeck-丘成桐定理,得到了稳定抛物丛上的陈数不等式。
学科建设
李嘉禹教授2010年10月从数学与系统科学研究院来到中国科学技术大学负责数学科学学院筹建工作,学院于2011年3月正式成立,李嘉禹任执行院长至2021年11月。 2017年中国科学技术大学数学学科成为首轮“双一流”建设学科,2021年在“双一流”学科评估中成绩显著,2022年成为第二轮“双一流”建设学科。李嘉禹教授协助马志明院长于2013年创办了国际学术期刊《Communications in Mathematics and Statistics》,成为科大三个SCI期刊之一,中国数学会认可的Top 1 期刊。
获得奖励
1998年获得中国科学院“百人计划”优秀团队称号。
1999年获得国家杰出青年基金资助,同年获得香港求是科技基金会杰出青年学者奖。
