男,研究员。1962年10月生于吉林省。现任中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所研究员。

1984年和1987年于北京师范大学生物学系获理学学士学位和理学硕士学位。
1987-1999年在中国科学院地理研究所从事科研工作,
1999年被聘为研究员。

任自然地理与全球变化研究部副主任、土地覆被变化与土地资源研究室主任。兼:中国科学院研究生院教授;中国地理学会理事、自然地理专业委员会主任委员;中国青藏高原研究会常务理事、副秘书长;国际山地中心中国委员会(CNICIMOD)委员、副秘书长; 中国自然资源学会山地资源专业委员会副主任委员;IGBP中国全国委员会与IHDP中国国家委员会土地变化科学工作组秘书长;北京植物学会理事。《山地学报》、《地理研究》和《地理科学进展》编委等。
个人简介
从事
植物地理学、生物地理学和自然地理综合研究。研究全球变化背景下的陆表生态与环境变化格局、过程及区域适应对策,重点开展青藏高原土地利用和土地覆被变化(LUCC)及其生态效应与区域适应研究。1999年以来,承担国家自然科学基金重点项目、973项目课题、国家科技支撑计划课题、中科院国际合作重点项目及国际合作项目等研究任务10余项,在植物地理学、LUCC及其效应与区域适应等方面的研究取得了重要学术进展。成果获国家与省部级奖励2次,发表论文80余篇,参加编撰专著4部、编辑论文集5册,获得软件著作权1个。
