周雪光，1959年生，山东淄博人。现任美国斯坦福大学社会学系教授、清华大学社会学系兼职教授、香港科技大学商学院组织管理系系主任、北京大学社会学系客座教授、香港中文大学社会学系杰出访问教授。

1975年毕业于淄博一中高21级，当年插队落户于临淄区城关公社蒋王村。1977年考入复旦大学国际政治系，1983年留学美国斯坦福大学社会学系，导师为著名组织理论家James March教授。1991年于斯坦福大学获博士学位后，曾先后应聘于美国康奈尔大学、杜克大学。
