刘崇顺，男，山东荣城人，武汉市社会科学院首席研究员，社会学研究所所长。

系中国社会学会理事，湖北省社会学会副理事长，湖北省社会心理学会副会长、武汉市社会学会会长、华中理工大学分校和中国地质大学管理学院兼职教授，美国匹兹堡大学国务院政府特殊津贴。获奖成果40余项。

1983年以来主持和参予主持国家哲学社会科学基金课题6项（含重点课题1项），主持和参与主持地方社会科学基金课题（含重点课题6项，承担美国全国科学院）美中学术交流委员会基金会课题1项。发表20部著作（含合著、编著），发表论文、研究报告200余篇。

Liu Chongshun, male, his native place is Rongcheng of Shandong. He was the researcher of Wuhan Academy of Social Sciences, the director of Social Science Institute. He is a member of the council of Chinese Social Sciences Association, the vice director of Hubei Social Sciences Association, the vice director of Hubei Social Psychology Association, the director of Wuhan Social Sciences Association, the concurrent professor of the Branch of Huazhong Science & Technology University and Administration College of Chinese Geology University, the visiting scholar of Pittsburgh University of U.S.A. He has been honored to be the Excellent Scientific Worker by the municipal government. He owned the Government Special Subsidy of the State Council. He has more than 40 awarded achievements.

He has hosted and taken part in six State Social Science Fund Topics (including one Key topic), has hosted and taken part in several Local Social Sciences Fund Topic (including six key topics and one topic from American-Chinese Academic Exchange Committee Foundation of the State Academy of Sciences of USA).He has published twenty books (including being the coauthor and the editor), more than 200 articles and research papers.
